How it works
- Log the erect and start the clock - When the scaffold is signed off, log the erect date, the number of lifts and bays, and snap the handover photo. The weekly hire starts counting from that moment.
- Hire charges send on schedule - While the structure stands, KaamCam sends the weekly or monthly hire invoice to the main contractor automatically. Every week up is a week billed, with the inspection photo attached.
- Close it out at dismantle - Log the dismantle date and KaamCam stops the hire clock, adds the dismantle labour and off-hire transport, and produces the final invoice. The total ties back to every week the scaffold was actually up.

How much does KaamCam cost for a scaffolding company?
It is $12 per user per month, flat. Weekly hire billing, photo handover records, and QuickBooks sync are all included, no separate rental module to buy. Put the office and each crew supervisor on it and you still pay one flat rate per seat.
How does it track the weekly hire period?
You log the erect date and the dismantle date, and KaamCam counts the weeks in between at your agreed hire rate. Nothing relies on someone remembering when the scaffold went up. If a job runs from March to June, the hire bills every week of it.
Can I bill erect, dismantle, and rental separately?
Yes, and you should. Erect and dismantle are one-off labour lines, the hire is a per-week line, and transport to and from site is its own line. Main contractors expect the breakdown, and separating it makes disputes over which part is being paid much shorter.
What if a contractor disputes how long the scaffold was up?
The erect handover photo and the weekly inspection photos are timestamped and stored on the job. When someone argues the hire dates, you send the dated photo of the completed scaffold and the record of when dismantle was logged. It ends the argument fast.
