Plumbing Estimating Software
A homeowner has rusty water and a heater from 2009. KaamCam builds the water heater replacement estimate at the tank, the customer signs on your phone, and you order the unit before you leave the driveway.
You crawl under the house, size the repipe, then go home and try to price forty feet of PEX and a dozen fittings from memory. The quote lands two days late in the customer's inbox and by then they booked whoever answered fastest.
Features
- Templates per job - A tank water heater swap, a full repipe, and a sump pump install each have their own saved estimate. Load it, set the gallon size or the pipe run, and the quote is built.
- Sign at the tank - Turn the phone around and the homeowner signs next to the old heater. The replacement is approved before your competitor calls them back.
- Show the corrosion - Photograph the rusted tank fittings and the water stain on the floor. The pictures sit in the estimate so the customer sees the problem, not just a price.
- Turn it into the invoice - Once the heater is set and the T and P valve is piped, convert the signed estimate to an invoice in one tap. No re-entering the pan, the tank, or the haul-away fee.
How it works
- Price it at the water heater - Load your replacement template, set the 40 or 50 gallon size, and add the expansion tank, pan, and haul-away.
- Walk them through it - Show the corrosion photos and each line so the customer understands the code upgrades the new install needs.
- Sign and book it - They sign on your phone, you order the tank, and the install is on the calendar before you pull away.
FAQ
Is estimating part of the $12 or an add-on?
It is in the flat $12 per seat, along with e-signature and one-tap conversion to an invoice. No estimating tier, no per-quote charge. A single water heater job covers the cost many times over.
Can I estimate a repipe by the fixture and the pipe run?
Build the repipe estimate with a per-fixture line for each sink, toilet, and shower, plus footage of PEX or copper. Adjust the counts on site and the total updates while you are still in the crawl space.
How do I handle a customer who wants options: repair or replace?
Send them one estimate with the leak repair and a second with the full fixture replacement so they compare real numbers. When they pick the replace option, that estimate converts to the invoice with nothing retyped.
Will a phone estimate hold up if the customer disputes it later?
The signed estimate is timestamped with the customer's signature, the itemized fixtures, and the corrosion photos attached. If they question the sump pump price in a month, the whole approved record is right there in the job.
Can I quote a small fixture install and a whole repipe the same day?
Each gets its own template, whether it is a $250 faucet swap or a $12,000 whole-house repipe. Load the right saved set for each stop and both quotes are signed and sent between calls.
